Ben,
You were my first nephew, born 2 weeks after my Lauren. we shared so many firsts. I was so proud of you! You were kind hearted, well mannered, mischevious,
precious boy. Your laugh lit up a room. I remember you begging for a brother. Couldn't wait! He adored you. I remember you finally learning the way around my kitchen! Rollerblading, watching scary movies, watching the Ewoks with Papaw,
loving to stay up all night at the bank with papaw and Lynn, hoping to see a ghost!
I remember you playing with the cousins and your play name was George! Haha.
You live on, sweet boy in every fishing story, every pancake I make, every "poo" joke, lol, every get together we have I think of you sweet boy. So never ever think you are forgotten.  And I know you have no concept of time, so just know we will see you soon.  Keep your pennies handy....

Ben was such a kind, gentle person, always smiling. After his death, a lady who worked in the cafeteria at his school came to us and told us how much he impressed her. Every day at lunch, he would walk into the cafeteria and smile, call her by name, and ask how she was doing. She said in junior high, cafeteria workers are considered "nobodies" by students. Ben was the only student in the school who spoke to her, and she said she would never forget him. I am so very proud of his sweet spirit.
